Freshwater is a central issue of development. We are two students convinced that its use, its repartition and its coping are going to be major concerns for the 21st century. The access to this resource is extremely volatile : Half ot the world’s amount is located in only nine countries.

The project Aquamerica aims at observing the multiple issues induced by the location of water. Health, Food, agriculture, hygiene, industry, tourism… How are societies influenced by their coping of and their relation to freshwater ? While crossing the American continent from north to south, the objective of this project is to question and to observe the use of this crucial resource during our journey.
